Houston - The start of summer league is just around the corner. Thursday afternoon, 14 young players will board a flight from Houston to Las Vegas to represent the Rockets at the annual event which serves as a showcase for players anxious to catch the eye of NBA coaches and execs.

Houston's roster (which you can view here) is loaded with intriguing prospects; from recent draft picks such as Jermaine Taylor, Chase Budinger and Joey Dorsey, to players who have lit up the D-League like James White, Rod Benson and Will Conroy.

Some names you're probably already very familiar with, but others might not ring a bell which is why Rockets.com is using this week to introduce you to some of the players who will be representing the Rockets in Las Vegas.

Starting today, we're posting exclusive one-on-one interviews with members of the summer league squad, so check-in regularly to hear what these hard-working and talented players have to say.
